Diego Bengochea

Boxing

Diego Bengochea “King Diego” born on 06/10/2002 from Meriden, Connecticut. I started boxing at Beat The Street Community Center in 2013. In 2016 I boxed in the Junior Olympics in Dallas, Texas, where I placed 3rd. In 2017 i placed 2nd in the Eastern Qualifier in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In 2018 I placed 3rd in the Junior Golden Gloves Nationals in Mesquite, Nevada. In 2018 I became Nationals champion of the Latino Nationals tournament. I’m currently ranked 9th by USA Boxing in the 101 lbs junior male weight class I’m a 4 time Nationals Champion,I have 106 amateur boxing bouts. I have competed all over the United States. Boxing is a passion, it’s all I do after school. I have a dream, my ultimate goal is to win GOLD 

in the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, Japan and turn Pro after that. This is where my FIGHT begins....
